Utsav Handicraft (Dahod)

Utsav is a creative attempt to bring out talents hidden in the rustic mind with a view to support tribal monetarily as well as plaesure . Originating work in their leisure time exhibiting fabulous piece of handwork . This organisation is in progress since last five years , have achieved quite a fame across the region .

Over a the years many unemployed females of this ram areas of DAHOD(tribal area ) have been engaged in creative work through UTSAV . Its a self Govern Organization .

On date nearly 30 tribal Women are working with Utsav and many training pro grammes are about to happen .

Pragna Bhatt(M.D)

I had a conversation with Pragna and she told about how she manage to work and promote tribal handicraft . After showing some of the very beautiful crafted folders , purse, hangings made of jute and Bamboos and bead work she showed me her portfolio and projects Utsav had been done . She majorly deals with jewelries , Decoratives , Bag and purses . They have taken tribal art and creatively reformed into new ad fancy products giving a new and potential form of tribal art .

Uplifting Tribal Villager and Generating employment

Utsav have 30 women working in handicraft field and learning skills . Dome from near villages come to work in Dahod they call theses worker "BEHEN" [sisters] as respect . Other than exposure they get livelihood ,Pragnya herself is working on the upliftment their social networks.
